The Balloon Seller by Lynne Moncrieff

I return this week with another Artistic Outpost card. In comparison to last week’s card, this uses a softer colour palette.

SUPPLIES
Crafty Individuals Shabby Tag
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish:- Vintage Lace, Irish Cream and Nougat
Distress Ink:- Victorian Velvet, Tattered Rose  and Vintage Photo
Tim Holtz Mini Attacher
Seam Binding (stained)
Lace
Extras:- Oxford Impressions French Script (damask), Walnut Ink Crystals, scrap white cardstock and French text.

INSTRUCTIONS

Apply Antique Stain to card base. Build up layers of stamping from Paris Exposition and damask stamp. Lay aside.

Using Crafty Individuals Swirl Mask/Stencil set and Distress Ink Victorian Velvet, create pattern on Crafty Individuals Shabby Tag. Stamp scroll from Le Jardin at top. Re-create the stamping on the card base. Abrade edges.

Stamp Le Ballon and label onto cardstock stained with Walnut Ink Crystals and balloon and advertisement onto French book text painted with PaperArtsy Vintage Lace (I used scraps which had been prepared for previous projects, they are useful to have to hand for quick stamping). Stamp woman onto found paper. Distress all edges.

Adhere the prepared tag to card base and now start to layer all the stamped elements, embellishing with lace scraps and the woman’s hat with paper flower and pearl sticker.

Finally staple flowing seam binding.

Until next week.

Wishes

Lynne
